Musical Theatre Diploma for Joseph

18 year old Joseph is now known as Joseph Schofield A.L.C.M after successfully completing his Musical Theatre Diploma with the London College of Music.

Joseph was a pupil of Little Voices Bury for many years completing all his grades with LAMDA in Musical Theatre and then spent 7 months working towards his Musical Theatre diploma with Jane Maudsley.

Congratulations Joseph we are all very proud of you at Little Voices!

Rachael in the LEP reaching for the high notes in the School Nativity

Mini Voices Blackburn student Rachael was chose to sing solo in the School Nativity at her school Highfield Priory. The Lancashire Evening Post chose her solo as Mary to appear in the 12 plays of Christmas, please see the link below and listen to 7 year old Rachael 2 minutes into play number 10.

We are incredibly proud of her and the progess she has made in the last 12 months since joining Little Voices.  Her parents said ‘we believe lessons at Little Voices has given our daughter the confidence to stand up on stage and sing beautifully to the whole school.’

Ciara hits the headlines

An East Lancashire ‘star in the making’ has secured a place at the prestigious National Youth Film Academy.

Ciara Baxendale, 17, from Helmshore, battled it out with tens of thousands of young people, aged between 16 and 25, for a chance to train as a professional actor.

She is one of the youngest auditionees to be awarded a place at the academy, in Manchester, and has been attending Blackburn’s performing arts school Little Voices for five years.
Managing Director Jane Maudsley said: “I am incredibly proud of Ciara’s success, especially as she was one of Little Voices first pupils in 2007. She is definitely a star in the making. I am delighted (more…)
