Meet our new singing tutor.

Ian Helm, Principal of Little Voices Bolton is very excited to announce that from September, joining his team as singing tutor will be international recording artist Lauren Waterworth.

Lauren signed to Zomba/Jive Records on a 5 album deal at the tender age of 13. Discovered by Pete Waterman, the Hit Man from ITV’s Pop Idol, Lauren had already gained valuable experience by performing at many live venues across the UK and was already a regular on BBC Radio Merseyside and BBC Radio GMR.

Since then, Lauren has performed at venues such as Manchester M.E.N, Birmingham N.E.C and London’s O2 arena alongside the likes of Westlife, Beverley Knight, Sugarbabes, Enrique Iglesias, Will Young, Stereophonics, Lulu, Blue, Steps and Sir Cliff Richard to name a few.

Despite such a busy career as a performer, Lauren has also studied music and performing arts at both Liverpool and Salford University. She has honed her vocal coaching skills over the pass few years and can now boast to be one of the Northwest’s most sought after singing teachers.

Lauren commented “It is wonderful to be part of the fantastic new singing and drama school in Bolton. With centres already open all over the UK, Bolton children are lucky to have Ian Helm and his team of experts to teach them and we hope they will go on to have the successes that other Little Voices’ students have had. Some are now BIG voices with a professional acting and singing careers, and more and more students are going in T.V. and film work.”

Bolton Takes Centre Stage!

It’s full steam ahead for the Little Voices Bolton launch in September and as an introduction to the town, Little Voices Bolton were asked to perform at the opening ceremony of the British Transplant Games. This year Bolton took the baton from last years hosts Sheffield in a ceremony in Victoria Square on Thursday 7th August. Little Voices Bolton were honoured to be asked and the girls representing us were very excited about the performance!
