Marking the end of a highly successful academic year on Wednesday 1st and Thursday 2nd July, all our students, aged between 4 – 12 years from the Little Voices Fulham, put on a spectacular performance to family and friends at there end of year performance.

Principal of Little Voices, Ashlea Pearson commented: “For several weeks everyone at Little Voices have been working hard towards there LAMDA examination pieces which they did in May. I wanted to give our pupils and parents this fabulous opportunity, allowing parents, friends and family the chance to see what we have been up to in our lessons and to witness there child’s exam pieces.

Pupils performed a 5 minute scene from the award winning musical ‘Charlie and The Chocolate Factory’ tackling the famous ‘I’ve Got a Golden Ticket’ song. As well, another group performed a scene from the award winning movie musical ‘Frozen’ singing ‘Fixer Upper’ and ‘Wanna’ Build A Snowman’.

Not only did our older pupils perform but our ‘Mini Voices’ aged 4 – 7 years all took to the stage to perform there solo pieces reciting there LAMDA poems, there devised scene and singing ‘I just Can’t Wait To Be King’.

Principal of Little Voices, Ashlea Pearson commented: “We are very proud of all of our pupils, even though the weather was extremely warm all pupils performed like absolute professionals and put on a lovely performance”

Fran-and-Max-Moorhouse

Little Voices Fulham student Max Moorehouse has landed his first role, as part of four teams of youngsters who will alternate in the show ‘The Railway Children’, playing several parts in the children’s ensemble and performing with comedian and actor Sean Hughes as Mr Perks and actress Caroline Harker as Mother.

Max began training with the performing arts organisation in Fulham at aged 5 years in 2010. According to Little Voices’ Principal Ashlea: “It is no surprise Max has secured this amazing role as has a huge talent and we are so proud of him,” she said. “At Little Voices we pride ourselves in providing outstanding tuition, expert guidance, support and traditional methods of teaching drama and singing, and Max’s natural talent flourished here. So much so that there is now no stopping him!”

The Railway Children opened at the King’s Cross Theatre to the public in January this year. The production is in support of the Railway Children Charity that aims to help homeless and runaway children throughout the world, with £1 per ticket donated to the charity.
