We couldn’t be more delight to have such a talented teacher working with our children, Tamara brings a huge wealth of experience teaching children with special needs and autism, promoting inclusion at every level. I am so proud and excited to have her as a member of the Little Voices Cheshire West team.

Tamara has worked as a drama and music specialist for many years, teaching, directing and performing.

After training in ballet as a child, Tamara’s love of theatre developed through being a member of many local amateur theatre groups, particularly Wrexham Musical Theatre Society and Tip Top Productions where she enjoyed roles in: The Wizard of Oz, Annie, The Sound of Music, La Cage Aux Folles, Oliver, Carousel, Godspell and many more.

Originally an English and Drama teacher for Ysgol Dinas Bran, she then trained at East15 Acting School to become a professional actor. She has worked in a number of theatres in England and Wales and been in touring productions of Cinderella, playing the Fairy Godmother, and Aladdin, playing the Princess.

Most recently she has toured a performance of The Railway Children and set up a community choir in Chirk.

Tamara loves working with community groups and has taught many performing arts groups, both locally and in London. Her greatest achievement to date was directing a group of school-refusers who created an internet safety performance which they then toured to primary schools.

She is currently enjoying singing Rutter’s Requiem with Cantorion Rhos and can’t wait to start teaching with Little Voices Cheshire West.
