KEEPING YOUR CHILD SAFE
Following advice from DfE, we’ve worked hard to adapt our lessons to meet the latest Government guidelines and we continue to closely monitor any updates. We are confident that the new measures we have put in place will ensure that we can continue to deliver our amazing education whilst adhering to Government guidelines and those set by the Children’s Activities Association. Some of our plans will no doubt change as this guidance evolves, ensuring that we are doing all we can to keep everyone safe whilst offering an outstanding service to all parents and children. Below are some of the measures we’ve put in place to keep your child safe. If we have to cancel our lessons for any reason or due to COVID 19, we will move to virtual online lessons. If your child can not attend an online lesson, lessons will be banked for the future. No refunds will be given.

Small class sizes remain - our lessons remain in small groups which are well within the official guidelines which allow up to 15 pupils in a group.

We will promote the ‘catch it, bin it, kill it’ approach - encouraging children to use their elbows or a tissue if they sneeze of cough and ask them to wash or sanitise their hands afterwards.

As we are providing lessons and examinations for your child it is important that you consent to Little Voices South West London using your personal data (including an email address and phone number) to contact you for the purposes of the running of the lessons and to discuss the examinations and your child’s progress in accordance with the Little Voices privacy policy. Without this information we will be unable to enter your child for examinations. For a child to be submitted for a LAMDA exam, LAMDA require that the following information is shared with them to process a candidate; Child’s Full Name, DOB, Gender. For Little Voices to be able to submit your child for a LAMDA exam we will require these details to pass onto LAMDA. We kindly ask that you consent to your child’s school passing on the information mentioned above to Little Voices South West London to enable us to enter the examinations correctly and inline with LAMDA’s policies and procedures. If you are unable to provide us with this information we will be unable to enter your child for examinations. Separate to the above. We would also like to send you occasional information about our half term and summer theatre camps, West End Workshops and auditions. This information will be sent via email. You can of course opt out of these at any time. Little Voices South West London will store your data until your child is 18 years old or until such time as you request it to be deleted. It is stored until this time for the following purposes; for example, it may be needed to provide you with examination results if you request a copy of the results, your child may leave Little Voices and then return. After the child reaches 18 years old all data will be destroyed.
