Terms and Conditions

 

  1. These terms and conditions apply to Little Voices lessons, theatre weeks, workshops, school partnerships, pilots and all activities given to pupils, applied for and consented to by the parent or guardian (referred to hereinafter as “pupil”) or school. Changes to these terms and conditions require the written consent of Little Voices.
  2. All Little Voices principals/franchisees and tutors are fully enhanced DBS checked.
  3. Little Voices is a registered trademark of Little Voices Limited. Little Voices schools and centres are operated as a franchise and are independently owned by the franchisee or individual.
  4. Little Voices reserves the right to update, amend or change policies, procedures and all information at any time without prior notice.
  5. A copy of Little Voices Terms and Conditions can be requested at any time.
  6. A ‘group’ is more than one. A group in the Little Voices lesson model will not be started with less than three children/young people to adhere to the exam regulations for group examinations however Little Voices policy is eight children in a group of similar age, ability and experience. Group sizes are at the discretion of Little Voices Limited and/or the Principal.
  7. Submission of a Free Trial Lesson enquiry form does not guarantee a Free Trial lesson has been booked. Submission of a enquiry form for any other Little Voices activity does not guarantee that a place has been booked.
  8. Further information about Little Voices will be sent to you or you will be contacted by telephone/email.
  9. A Free Trial Lesson/Theatre Week/Workshop Application Form and Consent Form will be sent to you. Once this has been completed in full, signed and returned the application for a Free Trial Lesson will be processed.
  10. Confirmation of a place, the venue and date for a Free Trial Lesson or other Little Voices activity will be sent to you when your application form has been processed and accepted (Further Information may be needed).
  11. Little Voices cannot guarantee to organise a Free Trial Lesson. There must be availability in a group lesson that meets the Little Voices entry criteria in terms of age, ability and experience. There are waiting lists at many venues.
  12. Attendance at the Free Trial Lesson is not a guarantee that Little Voices has a group lesson available for your child to enrol and attend weekly lessons.
  13. Following the Free Trial Lesson you will be contacted. This is an opportunity for Parent/Guardians to inform Little Voices of their child’s reflection on the lesson. Little Voices’ Principal can give feedback from the Free Trial lesson and confirm if there is an appropriate group in age, ability and experience for your child.
  14. Little Voices cannot guarantee that they will have a lesson available for your child to attend.
  15. If there is an appropriate lesson for your child to attend and you wish to enrol your child you will be sent an enrolment pack. The forms contained within must be completed in full. This pack will contain all the information you need to enrol your child with Little Voices.
  16. Times and fees are given in the “Enrolment Pack” for each lesson. A Personal details Application form for enrolment will only be deemed to have been accepted if accompanied by the payment/transfer of the required fees. Receipt of the completed Personal Details application form and Enrolment Pack along with any deposit or fees paid at the time of application will be confirmation that your child has been allocated a place. This establishes a contract for the provision of teaching services.
  17. Methods of Payment are at the discretion of the Principal but may include:
    • Bank Giro/transfer.
    • By direct debit or standing order
    • Cheque
    • Card payment
    • GoCardless
  18. Failure to pay lesson fees on time may result in attendance to lessons being suspended without prior notice.
  19. Lessons take place once a week during the normal academic terms. The term dates are published at the beginning of every academic year but are subject to change, without notice.
  20. Cancellation
    • Where a pupil is attending any lesson for the first time the contract can be terminated with a calendar month’s notice. Termination will only be accepted when received by Little Voices in writing.
    • Thereafter, the contract automatically continues for consecutive months until a month’s notice is given. Termination will only be accepted when received by Little Voices in writing.
    • Any other Little Voices activities including theatre weeks, workshops, events, pilots the cancellation policy and non refundable place is at the discretion of the Principal.
  21. Pupils must comply with Little Voices’ Code of Conduct at all times and Little Voices reserves the right to exclude pupils from lessons at its discretion.
  22. Little Voices reserves the right to make changes to the timetable and to the teaching staff.
  23. Lesson Fees are reviewed annually in September.
  24. Pupils participate at their own risk and are obliged to inform Little Voices and its staff of any existing injuries or medical condition.
  25. Pupils are obliged to take care of their own belongings. Little Voices can accept no liability for lost or damaged belongings.
  26. The liability of Little Voices and that of its staff is restricted to lesson time only and then only to gross negligence. Little Voices shall not be liable for any direct, indirect or consequential loss or damage howsoever caused. This does not affect our liability for death or personal injury arising from our negligence nor our liability for fraudulent misrepresentation as to a fundamental matter, nor any liability which cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.
  27. Little Voices will only use the personal information you provide to us for the provision of teaching services or to inform you about similar services which we provide that you have consented to receiving. Little Voices will not pass your data to third parties. Little Voices Limited (the franchisor) is registered with the ICO. Little Voices Privacy Policy is available on request and on the website.
  28. A person who is not party to these Terms shall not have any rights under or in connection with them under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999.
  29. These terms shall be governed by English law and you and Little Voices both agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
